Santa Clara Church and San Roque Convent
Description
This conventual enclosure of the XVII century housed cloistered nuns of the Order of Santa Clara (1666 – 1983) for more than three hundred years.
Nowadays, it has been fully recovered with a careful rehabilitation of each and every one of its buildings: the church houses the Living Passion Interpretation Centre, the former factory is now a charming hotel, and the preceptory is now housing.
The church preserves a baroque organ dating from 1777, one of the oldest in Bizkaia.
