After enjoying the views of the Valle de Mena and the Sierra de Ordunte, we will descend 1.1 km until the end of the wooded area hiding Cerro Cuchillo. The woodland leads to the heather plants and between them, we will have to walk 200 m to the hill.
We will go back to the road and continue towards Burgüeno, getting closer to Fuente Manzano to get some water. We will resume the path with fantastic views until the first road that descends to the left, a descent of 1 km/135 m which leads us to the forest. A few meters from a crossroads, we turn right into the beech and oak forest, taking a detour of 2.1 km to get back to the mentioned crossroads.
Then we have a steep descent of 1.8 km/317 m with considerable downhill in the final meters, but with a good road to do it safely. We will find another road, ascending on the left, adapting to the irregularities of the cliff between Burgüeno and Terreros, which we will enjoy walking between beeches, oaks and waterfalls for 3.2 km.
We will get to the road that goes down from Terreros and straight ahead we will follow another one towards Balmaseda, easy to walk through until we reach a tower of the siphon of the water pipes of the Greater Bilbao water conduction (1.7 km). We will continue crossing the barrier, a surprising 1.9 km route over the Cadagua basin, which will bring us back to the Terreros road.
We will descend to Nocedal, come out onto the road, and cross it to carry on through El Berrón to the Old Way of Santiago and then along the road to Balmaseda.

[/et_pb_toggle][/et_pb_column_inner][/et_pb_row_inner][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”0px||2px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”19px||23px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Oswald||||||||” header_2_text_color=”#97bc1c” header_2_font_size=”35px” header_2_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” border_width_bottom=”6px” border_color_bottom=”#97bc1c” box_shadow_style=”preset3″ box_shadow_blur=”5px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

<h2 center="" 22="" style="text-align: center;">Kolitzara Mendi Martxa Route

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ specialty=”on” _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”30px||31px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=”3391,5446″ _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” background_layout=”dark” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_gallery][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ specialty_columns=”2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_row_inner _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column_inner saved_specialty_column_type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.6.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Package Title” _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”94cd99b1-da7c-4658-bf69-a7999d075123″ custom_margin=”20px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}”]

RED MTB ROUTE

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” link_font=”|700|||on||||” custom_margin=”33px||20px||false|false” custom_padding=”||0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Distance: 31,58km

Positive altitude gain: 995m

Elevation: (min,max): 144m, 875m

Difficulty: Half

Tracks: Acces via Wikiloc

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Route details” _builder_version=”4.25.0″ _module_preset=”default” body_font=”|300|||||||” global_colors_info=”{}”]

This route, of medium difficulty, takes us to Mount Kolitza.
