Description

Balmaseda preserves its medieval layout practically intact: an urban framework of four main streets running parallel to the river that are crossed by four cantons that conclude in two squares, one on each side of the Historic Town centre.

This historical old Historic Town has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, with the category of Monumental Ensemble.
